Sign Your Children Up Now For A Shepherd’s Journey

The annual A Shepherd’s Journey at East Hills Moravian is one of the most inspiring events of the Christmas season. This year’s Shepherd’s Journey is Sunday, December 18 at 6:30 PM.

Children are taken on an exciting journey back in time to the streets of Bethlehem on the night that Christ was born. They will meet townspeople, bakers, moneychangers, and even a certain couple turned away at the Inn, as they wander the “streets”, searching for the newborn Jesus.

This Saturday Is The Annual East Hills Moravian Yard Sale!

This Saturday, October 22 is the Annual Yard Sale at East Hills Moravian! This year’s donations have set an all-time record and the Family Center is stuffed to the max, so you know you’re going to find something you just have to have.

The Moravian Women will also be hosting their Annual Bake Sale, so bring an extra couple of dollars to buy a delicious cake, cookies, pie, or any number of delicious delectables on display.

Door open at 9 A.M. and there’s always a line, so get to East Hills early to make sure you’re first to find those hidden treasures! Food and beverages will be available.

All proceeds from the Yard Sale benefit East Hills’ many outreach programs.

Drop Off Dates For 2011 Yard Sale Donations

We’ve created a page for the 2011 yard sale, which will be held on Saturday, October 22. The first drop-off date for your used items in good condition is April 16.

The page has a complete list of drop-off dates for your convenience, as well as a pdf attachment which you can download and share with your friends or hang on your refrigerator as a friendly reminder.

Wednesday evening Lenten Programs, March 16 to April 13 at 6 p.m.

I invite you at attend our special Lenten dinners and programs as you observe Lent this year. We will gather in Fellowship Hall to begin with a light meal at 6 p.m. before continuing with presentations and discussion at 7 p.m. Our adult programming will be based on John Bunyan’s classic allegory Pilgrim’s Progress. Appropriate children’s learning activities also scheduled each week. Bring your whole family.
